looooooooooooooooooooooooooooook what i foundddddd!!    omg ali babaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!))))))))))))))))))))): i miss it so much okayyyyy): i tried to find the booklet and my script but dunno where))))))))))): i rmbr we used to go to tapac on sunday mornings. i rmbr the first phase[6 months] was the workshop and the second phase[another 6months] were the rehersals for the play. i rmbr we were super excited to find out our roles. i rmbr the thiefs[10 of us!] were thought footdrills. idathu idathu idathu vadathu idathu! i rmbr our thief pledge. sun wei chiang, S_______A aagiya naan inam mozhi matham aagiya vetrumaigalai kadanthu something something something. okay la i forgot someparts of it. eh. THREE yrs ago okay. OMG THREE YEARSSS! i rmbr the story was ali baba and the 40 thiefs but we had only 10 thiefs. 2 chinese, sun wei chiang[ME!] and tan something[vinodhini!], 2 malay, cant rmbr thier names)): 2 eurasian, [navina and someone] 2 indian, cant rmbr thier names too)): and the head and asst head. avantika and ishwarya. i rmbr the funny funny scenes where we would struggle not to laugh. hee :D i rmbr the first time we went to nafa auditorium to reherse, we got locked out. i rmbr on that day the thiefs had to march through the crowd and go on stage. i rmbr i had a fever on that day and ismath anna took care of me. (: and nara anna [OMG NARA ANNAAAA!!] told the others that if i fainted on stage or something, just say something to make it seem like part of the play. HAHA. i rmbr we used to disturb gopu anna by calling him uncle, then thaathaa, then kollu thaaththaa. HAH(: i rmbr when gopu anna told us the story of ravindran we like, "WOW." i rmbr rehersals used to be until 9pm maybe 10 and on wednesdays and the next day i'd be damn tired in school. i rmbr i used to look forward to rehersals the wholeee week. i rmbr we used to be super scared of soundu anna. i rmbr the adults used to be very scary but they would joke around with us also. i rmbr the dance the thiefs had to do. i rmbr being sent to learn akido for chutti ulagam. HAHA. and i rmbr i thought karthig anna was a funny guy but when i met him in real life, he was super quiet and serious and i got freaked out. /: i rmbr i loved that "katthu naa kutthuve! kutthunaa katthuve!" scene. i rmbr my character is a soooooooooooooooper blurkoo and will forget where i put the diamond i stole then everyone will start searching for it. i rmbr the head will tell a thief to "patthu podu" and he will take out a 10cent coin and drop it on the floor. omg i rmbr all the fun and hardwork and on that day itself we all started crying after curtain call even the guys and all the trainers. RDG KIDS-ALI BABA. that 1 year. it was there that i found within myself the passion for theatre and developed my talent. (((((((: i hope there'll be more productions like this. :D omg cranes. knocking down everything. omgggggg. please finish it by 2010 so we can go back there for sec4 year. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. gone): |
